Snacking with intention
Why we snack
Most of us snack to bridge a gap or for a moment of pleasure. Neither is a problem. The trick is choosing something that actually does the job rather than leaving you hungry again ten minutes later.
What makes a good snack
A satisfying snack usually has a bit of substance, some fibre, protein or healthy fat, and a flavour you genuinely enjoy. A handful of nuts, a few granola clusters or a piece of fruit all fit.
Snacking with intention
Intention just means pausing for a second: am I hungry, and what would actually satisfy me? A snack chosen on purpose feels better than one eaten on autopilot.
