Peanut butter & banana granola smoothie bowl

Peanut butter & banana granola smoothie bowl

Some mornings you want a bowl you can stand a spoon up in. This one blends frozen banana and peanut butter into something thick, cool and creamy, then finishes with a generous handful of crunchy Original granola for contrast. It comes together faster than your coffee, and the banana brings enough natural sweetness that you won't need to add sugar.

It's a good one to know by heart: six ingredients, one blender, five minutes.

Tips & variations

  • Make it thicker: use a fully frozen banana and go easy on the milk. You're aiming for soft-serve, not a drink.
  • Dairy-free: any plant milk works. Oat and almond both keep it creamy.
  • Add a lift: a spoon of cocoa, a handful of berries, or a pinch of cinnamon.
  • Extra crunch: hold back half the granola and add it halfway down the bowl too.

Good to know

The granola brings the crunch and most of the fibre and protein in this bowl. Change the milk to suit your taste, and skip the honey altogether if your banana is nicely ripe.
